We specialize in being the buyer's real estate agent. We will create for you a customized Costa Rica real estate tour that allows you to see a large amount of properties that meet your specific needs.

Some things you need to know about buying real estate in Costa Rica: There is now a functioning Multiple Listing Service in Costa Rica. The Costa Rican Government does not regulate or monitor its real estate market. Only hiring trained, qualified and experienced professionals can ensure you that everything is done quickly, efficiently, and painlessly.

We are CBR licensed (Camera Costarricense Bienes Raices- Chamber of Costa Rica Real Estate Brokers) the only recognized private institution for real estate agents in Costa Rica. It has been functioning since 1974.

One of the best ways to find properties in Costa Rica (in addition to using our Realtor partner's listings and the CBR email service) is to get in a car and find the condos, homes or land in the area where you want to live or invest.  

Driving around your desired area with one of our agents that has a cell phone is a plus, since most cell phones from outside Costa Rica will not work here.

We can save you money because we are bi-lingual and can talk directly to many owners. Keep in mind that many times there are usually 2 prices, the Tico (friendly name for a Costa Rican) price and the Gringo price. Our people will help you get closer to the Tico price.

We act as buyers agents to protect your interests and can show almost any property in Costa Rica. We have a relationship with an experienced attorney that can handle all your legal requirements if you decide to purchase property. We can refer you to a construction company that has 40+ years of experience working in Costa Rica.

1. Researching properties and building your itinerary. You will receive this itinerary with 6 to 10 properties (depending on their proximity) for each day of your tour. We require that you book your tour at least 1 week prior to your arrival; you will receive your itinerary shortly after booking your tour. Plenty of time will be available for evaluations, modifications and updates.

2. Each day you will be accompanied by an experienced CBR licensed real estate guide (with a cell phone!) acting as your buyer’s agent.

3. Most of the time, we have the ability to immediately check property titles at the public registry while we are on the tour, by calling our lawyer.

4. For tours outside the Central Valley, we suggest you supply lodging and food expenses for our real estate agents. Remember; there are no street signs in Costa Rica, road conditions can be a challenge and it is very easy to become frustrated and/or get lost. We are more than happy to drive your car.
